What You Will Focus on
You will focus on the development of backend geospatial services for a cloud-based system, this system being an information service provider for German drone flight areas.
What You Bring
You will bring enthusiasm for being part of an exciting new development, as well as most (or perhaps all) of the skills listed below. We look forward to hearing from you.
The following skills are essential:
JAVA,
GeoServer,
PostgreSQL/PostGIS,
Geodata formats (e.g. WFS, WMS, Shape, GeoJSON …),
Linux
Docker
React
Typescript
HTML
CSS
Openlayers
Maplibre
Python
OAuth2
Very good skills with both the German and English languages (English must be level C1/C2)
The following skills are desirable:
Preferably you possess background knowledge about aviation and ATC: Avation information publications, NOTAMS etc.
Furthermore:
Initial period of work with DFS runs from 01.11.2023 (possibly earlier) through to 30.06.2024 (with possible extension). Remote work is possible, noting however that regular meetings on the customer site (Langen) are called for.
