PROJECT OBJECTIVE

I would like to develop a simple, fast, and professional warehouse and inventory management application for small and medium-sized businesses.

Many ERP and inventory management systems on the market are unnecessarily complex. The key differentiator of this application should be the ability to perform the maximum number of operations with the minimum number of clicks.

Users should be able to learn and use the system within a few minutes without any training.

The application should be available on the following platforms:

• Web application (browser-based)

Users should be able to access their account from all supported platforms using the same credentials.

EASE OF USE

The application's primary design philosophy should be simplicity.

Requirements:

• Minimum number of clicks

• Large and intuitive buttons
• No complicated menus
• New users should be able to operate the system without training

Example workflow:

1. User scans a barcode.
2. Product appears on the screen.
3. User selects "+" or "-".
4. User enters quantity.
5. Operation is completed.

Most actions should be completed within 2–3 steps.

MULTI-LANGUAGE SUPPORT

The application should support multiple languages.

Initial languages:

• English
• German
• Turkish
• French
• Italian

Users should be able to change the application language at any time from within the application.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ANALYTICS

The following features should be considered for future development phases:

• Inventory consumption analysis

LICENSING AND SUBSCRIPTION MODEL

The application should operate on a per-user licensing model.

Rules:

• Each email address represents one user account.
• Each user requires a separate license.
• Licenses are sold on a per-user basis.
• Companies may purchase as many licenses as required.

Examples:

• 1 license = 1 user
• 5 licenses = 5 users
• 10 licenses = 10 users

ACTIVE SESSION CONTROL

A user account should only be allowed to be active on one device at a time.

Examples:

• If a user is logged in on a computer, they should not be able to use the same account simultaneously on a mobile device.
• If a user is logged in on a mobile device, they should not be be logged in on another device at the same time.

Optionally:

• A new login may automatically terminate the previous active session.

This functionality is required to prevent license sharing.

SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS

• Monthly subscription
• Annual subscription
• Pricing based on the number of licenses/users
• Accounts should automatically become inactive if payment is not received
• Inactive accounts should not have access to the system

PAYMENT METHODS

DATA STORAGE ARCHITECTURE

If possible, customer data should not be stored directly by us.

Potential options include:

My preference is that customers remain the owners of their own data.

However, if a more secure and scalable architecture is recommended by the development team, alternative solutions may be considered.

SYNCHRONIZATION

• Automatic synchronization across all devices
• Changes made on a mobile device should immediately appear on desktop devices
• Offline operation support
• Automatic synchronization once an internet connection is restored

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

The application should have a highly professional appearance.

Desired characteristics:

• Minimalist design
• Limited color palette
• Corporate and business-oriented look
• Modern user experience
• Fast and smooth operation
• Mobile-first design approach

The goal is not to create a flashy application, but rather a professional, trustworthy, and efficient business tool.
